With passenger figures soaring and an increasing number of airlines choosing Belfast as their operational base, Belfast International Airport has never been in better shape. And if you consider that Belfast is the closest European airport to the United States and the most technically advanced in Ireland the future has never looked brighter. However, it isn't the easiest airport to reach by public transport; the nearest rail station is six miles away in Antrim and it is 18 miles to the city centre (which makes cabs prohibitively expensive).

The only downside of the Hilton is that, once you've spent the night here; you probably won't want to catch your flight. The Hilton is a sprawling country club set in 220 acres of manicured parkland and boasts every conceivable leisure amenity (including an 18-hole golf course, health club and a number of tennis courts). It's a 10 minute ride to the airport (5 miles) and transfers can be arranged around the clock.
